I’ve been busy. I meant to blog about some things but I guess the time has passed and those events are now ancient. I’m talking about Ohayocon 2012 and Fudcon Blacksburg, mostly. I’ve got a handful of photos from Ohayocon that I uploaded to my Flickr in an attempt to prove that I’m still alive. For example: here’s me at a sushi restaurant, looking confused:
You can see the rest of them on my Flickr.
Prior to Ohayocon though, I went to Fudcon 2012 and came to the conclusion that I’m simply not as involved with the Fedora community as I am with KDE. Nothing against Fedora, but I’m just not a distribution developer. I have been and will continue to be a Fedora user for a long while, but I really love coding too much.
I came to this realization the last few weeks of my (now previous) job at Quasimoto. There, I started out doing Phonon and GStreamer work. After some difficulties with project management, I stepped up to become the scrummaster and system architect. It was fun, but took me away from much of my coding duties. One can only stare at Koji for so long before going bonkers.
So, as of today, I’m super proud to announce that I’m working for these awesome people:

Welcome colleague.
