Fabio Exploded

Oops. I tried firing Fabio today and it appears that it disassembled itself. I readied the cannon on my shoulder, pushed the trigger, and saw the croquet mallet fly off into the distance. I looked to my right shoulder and realized how close I was to serious injury. Same as the cartoons, all I was holding was the energy chamber and the trigger button. 20 feet behind me were the shattered remains of the flimsy plumbing that wrestles the 150 psi of force around to point in a usable direction. This picture is the recollected remains of Fabio.

Tomorrow I intend to buy the needed parts and make repairs. Once that bend is reassembled, I’ll look into reinforcing how the barrel is connected to the energy chamber. I also want to attach the trigger box right onto the whole cannon, so there isn’t some loose box flailing around.

I’ve got more pictures, but (which I’m sure comes as a shock to absolutely noone), I haven’t charged my camera in ever so I’ll need to find where the heck it ran off to.
