Today, BoingBoing posted a video that one of Joel Johnson’s friends recorded while he was interviewed for AT&T’s Hugh Thompson show. I’ve attached the video below. My thoughts? Bravo for him standing up against AT&T’s illegal practices. Its funny how the crowd starts to laugh when the director cuts in to end the interview.
Whats even more interesting, is that they cut it at all. Its as though they told the staff that what they did wasn’t a great thing, and that discussing it could mean they lose their jobs. Are there any other instances of people within AT&T speaking out about this and then mysteriously “quitting”?
